"New York Tough" was a July 2020 poster issued by the Office of the Governor of New York. The New York Post, reporting a July 13, 2020 briefing, said the sheet was presented under that name and depicted the state's COVID-19 response as a mountain (New York Post, July 13, 2020).

The New York Post reported on July 13, 2020 that Gov. Andrew Cuomo unveiled the sheet at a press briefing in Manhattan that day. The paper said the picture treats the state's COVID-19 outbreak as a mountain, with the New Rochelle cluster drawn as a flame at the base and a mask near the summit, and that essential workers are shown on a rope. The Washington Post, on July 14, 2020, called it the "New York Tough" poster released on Monday and credited the picture it discussed to the Office of Gov. Andrew M. Cuomo. A July 14 New York Post story said the governor's office was taking pre-orders at $14.50 plus shipping and quoted a tweet that used the hashtag #NewYorkTough.
